Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a Medical leg vein removal treatment that can treat and eliminate spider veins on legs, including larger varicose veins.

A sclerosing agent is injected directly into the vein to break down the vessel wall, causing it to collapse, eliminating the appearance of the veins as it is naturally reabsorbed into the local tissue.

Depending on the size and amount of veins present 2-3 sessions might be needed.

Winter is the perfect time for these treatments as it takes approximately 2 weeks to fully heal after each treatment and bandages/compression stockings are worn to ensure that the veins stay collapsed.

Costs includes consultation, 2 week follow up and bandages.
