Dr Robyn Cupido is a Medical Doctor with a special interest in Aesthetic Medicine. She qualified as a Medical Doctor from the University of Capetown in 2014 (MBChB). In addition to her degree she has completed her Diploma in HIV management, and is currently doing her Advanced Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine through the Foundation of Professional Development of South Africa.
Having practicing Aesthetic Medicine since 2017 through initial short courses, I have attended multiple of the highest practical training workshops through Medskills Training Academy. I have attended various Facial Restoration workshops under the guidance of mentorship programs learning from my colleagues in order to perfect my injecting skills to provide the best possible treatments and beautiful results to my patients.
Dr Robyn Cupido has a passion for skincare and Aesthetic Medicine, her main goal is to make her patients feel and look like the best confident versions of themselves.
My aim as an Aesthetic Doctor is to enhance one's natural beauty, it's never a "one-size-fits-all" approach as each patient is unique with different goals and beautiful features. She believes that an holistic approach to anti-ageing will provide the best possible longer lasting results.
Prior to following my passion in the Aesthetic Medicine field, I have worked in various government hospitals, managed HIV and TB patients at Vredenburg Provincial hospital which provided me with the opportunity to complete my HIV-TB Diploma. I've had the opportunity to work in a culturally diverse community as I filled the role as an Emergency Medicine doctor at Life West Coast Private Hopsital. Here I keep up to date with the latest guidelines as to not lose my Medical clinical skills especially when it comes to saving lives in an Emergency unit, I've completed courses in Advanced Cardiac Life support-EP (ACLS-EP) Advanced Trauma Life support (ATLS) as well as Advanced Paediatric Life support (PALS).
I have invested a lot of time in further education and training to keep up to date with the latest scientific evidence based medical treatments to avoid serious complications which can take place with any medical treatment especially Aesthetic medical treatments.
